A look at the upcoming week of important area baseball games:

Four locals trying to win this week to get into the AHSAA playoffs:

GDW Analysis:
It's the final week of area play for Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) baseball.
Four teams covered regularly by Gameday Weekly are needing to win in order to be a participant for the playoffs with the opening round to be held the weekend of April 18.
Cold Springs Eagles:
Eagles 2 & 2 in 2A, Area 11:
Cold Springs at Winston County Tuesday
Winston County at Cold Springs Thursday
Winston County is also 2 & 2 with the winner of this series to finish 2nd in the area to Sumiton Christian.
Fairview Aggies:
Aggies are 1 & 3 in 5A, Area 15:
Brewer at Fairview Tuesday
Fairview at Brewer Thursday
Brewer is 2 & 2 in the area. The winner of the series will finish 2nd to Arab who is undefeated in area play.
Good Hope Raiders:
Raiders are 2 & 2 in 4A, Area 13:
Good Hope at East Lawrence Tuesday
East Lawrence at Good Hope Thursday
East Lawrence is 0 & 4 in the area.
Raiders are needing to win the series that would give them 2nd in the area standings to West Morgan.
West Morgan (4 & 0) plays Danville (2 & 2) Tuesday and Thursday. Good Hope has the tiebreaker on sweeping Danville March 17 & 19.
Hanceville Bulldogs:
Bulldogs are 2 & 2 in 3A, Area 12
Hanceville vs. JB Pennington Monday
Hanceville at JB Pennington Tuesday.
The winner of this series will finish 2nd in the area standings to Vinemont.
Cullman Bearcats:
Bearcats are 2 & 0 in 6A, Area 13
Cullman vs. Mortimer Jordan Tuesday
Cullman at Mortimer Jordan Thursday.
This is for 1st place in the area.
The games will be live on 98.3 FM
