AHSAA All Star BB - South wins Game 1, Game 2 rained out:

Rain keeps all star series from playing a doubleheader:

GDW Analysis:
MONTGOMERY: Only one game of the scheduled two in the AHSAA baseball all-star series was played Monday from Riverwalk Stadium.
The South took the opener 4 to 1.
Rain forced the 2nd game to be postponed.
Team South took a 1 to 0 lead in the 2nd added two runs in the last of the 4th to extend the advantage to 3 to 1.
The North managed to produce a run in its half of the 6th. The South then got an insurance run and held the North in check in the 7th.
Team South had four runs on seven hits and left seven on base.
The North managed one run, four hits and stranded six.
Seven South players tallied a hit.
Six players on the North side accounted for a hit apiece.
Drew Puccio from Arab scored the only run for the North. He walked and came in on a hit to close the margin to 3 to 1 in the 6th.
In the 7th, the North had a runner on following a hit but the momentum got cut when the runner was picked off at 1st.
A fly out ended the game.
Fuller Musgrove was named the MVP from the South. Musgrove accounted for an RBI.
