AHSAA state track meet dealing with possible stormy weather:
T-storms could alter the schedule of 1A, 2A, 3A meet in Cullman:

GDW Analysis:
MONTGOMERY: Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) released a statement in concern of possible storms this weekend while the 1A, 2A, 3A state track and field meet takes place at Cullman High School.
"Given the current forecast for Cullman this weekend, we want to advise all coaches that weather conditions may impact the schedule of events for the Class 1A-3A state track meet, particularly, but not limited to, competitions scheduled for early Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. While we hope that no issues arise, it’s wise to prepare for potential changes due to inclement weather now.
We highly recommend that coaches with athletes competing in events early Friday afternoon/evening consider arriving at the stadium early. This approach will allow for flexibility in case schedule adjustments are needed. While there is no guarantee that weather will or will not affect the event, for the athlete’s sake, its better to err on the side of caution as you plan your arrival.
We will continue to monitor this situation as the week progresses. Please check the AHSAA website, social media pages, and Dragonfly emails for future announcements and/or changes affecting the event."
As of 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service in Huntsville had the Cullman area to get possible storms between 50 to 80 percent Friday and 60 to 80 percent for Saturday.
Updates will be provided by gameday weekly and also on Flash's Twitter page, JT92reporter.
