Cullman Bearcats earn a shutout on the home turf:

GDW prep football team spotlight from Week 6:
Cullman Bearcats: Because of possible weather issues, Cullman got an extra home game this season when the contest with Brewer was moved to Mark Britton Field/Oliver Woodard Stadium.
The Bearcats ended the September portion of their schedule, shutting out the Morgan County visitors 35 to 0.
That puts the Bearcats into the Gameday Weekly team spotlight.
Cullman earned the lead when the Bearcats scored right before halftime.
Three TDs in the 3rd allowed the 'Cats to control matters and take a 28 to 0 advantage into the 4th.
This was the Bearcats' first shutout win at home for 2nd year coach Danny Stiff.
Cullman defeated a Brewer squad, coached by Matt Plunkett, who was leading the Bearcats in 2018.
Cullman has won 25 of 26 meetings all time against the Patriots.

 GDW player spotlight of the week:
Cooper Loftin of the Cullman Bearcats: Loftin put up good numbers, rushing for 101 yards and 2 TDs in the victory on Friday vs. Brewer.
Loftin raced 49 yards for a TD and scored on a 2 yard run int he 3rd that helped the Bearcats tally 21 points in the period and build a commanding 28 to 0 lead at the end of the stanza.
Cullman's offense manufactured five TDs on the final Friday of September in front of the fans at Mark Britton Field/Oliver Woodard Stadium.

 The 'Cats now take a 3 & 3 record into October with their rival the Hartselle Tigers waiting to due battle with them this week from the Cullman campus.
