GDW Analysis:
MONTGOMERY: Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Friday afternoon, released a statement in regards of the Hanceville High School softball program in violation of two rules.
The program reportedly violated the AHSAA transfer rule and also violated Rule V in coaching requirements for the sport.
The 3A school has been fined by the AHSAA and placed on probation.
All wins that occurred with reported ineligible players participating, must be vacated.
Gameday Weekly researched through the AHSAA website with Hanceville having 9 wins against 9 losses and 1 tie on the current season.
The players were accessed restitution for the contests they played in.
The coaches who were uncertified, have been disqualified by the AHSAA for the period of one year.

 Two days ago, Hanceville was seeded No. 3 in the upcoming Cullman County softball tournament.
The tournament will be played March 31 and April 1 from the Vinemont Sports Complex.
GDW has not been informed if the pairings will have to be re-set or not from the CCBOE as of 4:00 p.m. Friday.
