Round 1 of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) baseball playoffs will be part of Easter weekend.
It will be surrounded by very good weather conditions.
The forecast is calling for sunny skies with a few clouds and temperatures in the low 80s.
Gameday Weekly will see four schools on the diamond for Round 1.
One gets to be at home while the others will be making trips that will have the local teams playing in Lawrence, Franklin and Madison counties.
Cullman:
Bearcats vs. Hazel Green
Game 1 Friday 5:00 p.m.
Game 2 Friday 7:30 p.m.
Game 3 (If) Saturday 2:00 p.m.
Cullman is the 6A, Area 13 champion (21 & 14). Bearcats back in the playoffs after missing in 2024.
The playoff series will be live on 98.3 FM.
Fairview:
Aggies at Lawrence County
Game 1 Friday 5:00 p.m.
Game 2 Friday 7:30 p.m.
Game 3 (If) Saturday 2:00 p.m.
Fairview is the runner up in 5A, Area 14 (15 & 15)
Lawrence County is the winner from 5A, Area 15 (21 & 7)
The Aggies invade Moulton with the banner of being the 2025 Cullman County tournament champion.
Good Hope:
Raiders at Madison County
Game 1 Friday 4:30 p.m.
Game 2 Friday 7:00 p.m.
Game 3 (If) Saturday 1:00 p.m.
Good Hope is the runner up from 4A, Area 13 (12 & 7).
Raiders gain a playoff berth under first year coach Noah Holder.
Cold Springs:
Eagles at Red Bay
Game 1 Friday 4:30 p.m.
Game 2 Friday 6:30 p.m.
Game 3 (If) Saturday 3:00 p.m.
Cold Springs is the runner up from 2A, Area 11 (11 & 14).
Cold Springs got a playoff berth last Friday with two wins over Winston County, the 2nd game being a walk off home run.
