GIRLS:
Holly Pond Lady Broncos
Maggie Nail of Holly Pond
Holly Pond composed 2 wins with one over Cold Springs at Dwayne Adams' Court and the other in 3A, Area 13 play from JB Pennington.
Holly Pond has a 10 & 3 overall record and leads Area 13 with two wins in two games.
Mary Hartline's Lady Broncos have a pair of area games this week with Hanceville and Vinemont, trying to stay atop the leaderboard.
Nail showed a good outing vs. Cold Springs in scoring 22 points to lead them to a 49 to 38 victory and a sweep of the Lady Eagles for the first time in several seasons.


VARSITY:
Hanceville Bulldogs
Peyton Twilley of the Hanceville Bulldogs
Hanceville took down JB Pennington 67 to 57 and Vinemont 46 to 38 in OT on WKUL FM.
The Bulldogs are 2 & 1 in 3A, Area 13, in 2nd place to Locust Fork.
Hanceville has an overall record of 5 & 6.
Twilley went on a good display, scoring 18 against Pennington and a game high 25 points to push the Bulldogs by Vinemont in OT.
For the week, Twilley averaged 21.5 points a game for coach Stephen Chandler.
