GDW Analysis:
HARTSELLE: Cold Springs Lady Eagles closed out Thanksgiving week by running past Ardmore 62 to 34 Wednesday morning in the Hartselle Encore Classic.
This eased the pain of a 51 to 48 loss in the Classic the day before to East Limestone.
Two new weapons came to play for coach Tammy West Wednesday.
Guard Kenady Graves responded with a 10 point first period on 5 driving shots to the basket and Hollyn Bruer tallied 3 treys for 9 points.
That sent Cold Springs to a 22 to 11 advantage.
Ella Dickerson got into the act with three FGs in the 2nd and the Lady Eagles upped the lead on the Lady Tigers to 40 to 20 at halftime.
Dickerson stepped out to three point area in the 3rd and would nail three good looking shots. A 14 to 3 advantage in the 3rd made it 54 to 23.
Dickerson finished with 15 in a balanced attack, Graves added 13, Bruer netted 9, Macie Huffstutler 8, Baylee Perdue 6 and Gloria Williams 5.
The Lady Eagles are 5 & 2 with their next game to be Monday at West Point.

Hartselle 53, Homewood 51: Lady Tigers rallied from a 10 point deficit and won it in the closing seconds.
Hartselle is 7 & 1 on the season.
Mortimer Jordan 58, Florence 38: The Blue Devils bounced back from a Tuesday loss to Good Hope by getting on top at the half 35 to 16 for new coach Clay Walker. The Blue Devils are 5 & 1 for the season.
Mars Hill 57, James Clemens 49: Belle Hill ripped the cords for a game high 31 points. The game was tied going into the 4th as Mars Hill used the leadership of Hill to surge by James Clemens in a hotly contested encounter.
The Lady Panthers upped their record to 3 & 1 with James Clemens falling to 1 & 3.
