Comeback wins set the tone during Cullman Lady 'Cats playday:

Six games decided with come from behind efforts:

GDW Analysis:
What stood out for Gameday Weekly Thursday in covering the Cullman Lady Bearcats' basketball playday was the number of come from behind victories.

Half a dozen overcame deficits as it set the tone on a very good day of hoops hosted by Jessica McBrayer's Lady Bearcat program.
Cullman was involved in coming from behind in both of its assignments from Bearcat Arena.
The Lady Bearcats finished their game vs. Ardmore on an 8 to 0 run and a 53 to 46 triumph.
In the early afternoon, Cullman trailed Fairview early then went ahead and would fight off a challenge by the Lady Aggies, claiming a 50 to 42 decision.
Also having their way at comeback verdicts were the Vinemont Lady Eagles, Fairview Lady Aggies and Jasper Ladu Vikings.
Vinemont is currently having an undefeated playday season for new coach Emily Willoughby.

The Lady Eagles closed out a 51 to 48 victory against Ardmore on a 17 to 4 run with five of their last six shots they converted coming from three point range.
Vinemont looked tired and sluggish in its 2nd matchup with Phillips. The Lady Eagles finished the half on a 9 to 2 run and led 17 to 16 at the break. Vinemont broke the game by a 32 to 9 scoring surge in the final half and a 49 to 25 win.
Fairview was down to Jasper 23 to 18 after the first half. The Lady Aggies began to shoot much better in the 2nd half and stunned last year's AHSAA 5A state champion by the final of 41 to 37.
Jasper avoided a winless trip to Bearcat Arena in coming from behind in the 2nd half to knock off St. John Paul 34 to 31.
Holly Pond did not have to compose comeback victories. The Lady Broncos sprinted into the lead and would romp over Meek 45 to 15 and St. John Paul 47 to 27.
Excluding the Cullman vs. Fairview matchup, the local teams would go 7 & 0 on the day. So far in playday games covered by GDW the last two weeks, local teams have 21 wins against four losses as Vinemont is 6 & 0 with Holly Pond 4 & 0, Cullman 2 & 0 in staying undefeated.
