Cullman Christian School out to fill basketball coaching vacancy:

Lions now in process of replacing Mitch Morris as hoops coach:

GDW Analysis:
Cullman Christian School is waiting for its first official year with the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) and taking care of a couple of agendas.
One has been going on for around a month. A new wooden floor replacing the tile floor. This was through hard work by the school and assistance from the director of the Cullman Basketball Complex, Branch Whitlock.
The Lions have a wooden floor, formerly of the Boston Celtics' G League team in Maine.

A new task has happened for athletic director Heith Yearwood to move forward on.
Cullman Christian School is without a basketball coach after Mitch Morris stepped down earlier this week and accepted a position to coach basketball and be a teacher at Good Hope Middle School.
The Lions will move as rapidly as they can with school to be starting in approximately three weeks.
CCS will be positioned in Area 13 of the AHSAA for basketball with St. Bernard Prep, Addison and Meek.
Addison is also without a basketball coach as Gameday Weekly has learned through sources.
Scott Flynn coached the Bulldogs for the past two years, taking over when Ben Mastin resigned and went to Danville High School.
The Bulldogs got to the 1A Sub Regional last season, only being eliminated in the playoffs by Shoals Christian.
GDW repeats the new list of basketball coaches that will be reported by the website for 2024/25.
Adam McKinnon at Cold Springs, Josh Golden at Hartselle, Bobby Meyer at West Morgan, Sam Wallace at Danville, Nathan Sanders at Corner, Chris Graves at Albertville, Kori Walker at Athens, Ben Mastin at Decatur, Jason Johnsey at Mortimer Jordan, Dale Taylor at Priceville.
As of currently, JB Pennington's position is vacant after Daniel Allison stepped down in the month of June.
Meyer at West Morgan and Wallace at Danville will be involved in area play with Drew Adams of Good Hope.
Johnsey, a Cullman assistant for two years, will have Mortimer Jordan playing Stu Stuedeman's Bearcats in the area.
Golden in Hartselle, Mastin in Decatur and Walker at Athens will see each other in area battles.
Taylor will be at Priceville with the Bulldogs a 5A program for the first time.
