Friday the 13th was wet, but wonderful for local football teams.
Four schools from the Cullman County system, prevailed in winning on the road.

 Add the Cullman Bearcats with 2 TDs in the 4th quarter to rally and knock off the Jasper Vikings 21 to 20 at Ki-Ro/Gambrill Field.
Two teams that went into this week undefeated, remain with a perfect record on the 2024 season.
The Fairview Aggies took down the Ardmore Tigers 28 to 6 in 5A, Region 7 from Limestone County.
Good Hope Raiders kept a perfect record in pulling away from the Haleyville Lions 27 to 7 at Bubba Scott Stadium.
A happy group of Hanceville Bulldogs left Carbon Hill with a 24 to 0 shutout in Walker County. The first win of the season for new coach Levi Estes in a 3A, Region 5 contest.
Vinemont was able to hang on and claim a huge victory in Jefferson County, outscoring Midfield 32 to 28 in 3A, Region 5.
The West Point vs. Lawrence County game got rained out Friday with the game now set to be played Saturday at 3:00 p.m. from Cullman's Britton Field/Woodard Stadium.
Fairview is now 3 & 0 and 2 & 0 in 5A, Region 7.
Good Hope goes to 3 & 0 and 2 & 0 in 4A, Region 5
Vinemont's win has the Eagles 3 & 1 and 1 & 1 in 3A, Region 5.
The win for Hanceville makes the Bulldogs 1 & 3 and 1 & 1 in 3A, Region 5.
Fairview was ahead 14 to 0 by halftime at Ardmore and 21 to 0 following play in the 3rd quarter.
The Aggies last year whipped the Tigers 35 to 3.
Fairview has scored 117 points in 3 games, an average of 39.0 per game.
Good Hope is the best defense in the county. The Raiders have allowed the opposition 16 points, 2 TDs and a FG in 12 quarters.
The average on defense is 5.5 points a game.
Vinemont now has three wins in four games, a very good start for coach Robinson.
Cullman was able to slow down the 6A's best offense that was averaging 50 points a game.
Cullman was down 20 to 7 in the 4th. Two TD drives for the Bearcats and a 2 point conversion with less than a minute remaining put them on top.
Jasper attempted a FG on the final play to win the game, but missed as the 'Cats are now 2 & 2 overall and 1 & 1 in 6A, Region 7.
