Holly Pond 60, Hanceville 19 (G):
  HANCEVILLE: Holly Pond was solid on Friday at Lane Horton Gymnasium.
Lady Broncos raced to a 34 to 9 lead at the half and coasted from there.

  The No. 7 team in Class 3A is 17 & 5 on the season and finish 5 & 3 in Area 11 play, 2nd to Vinemont in the standings.
Holly Pond 45, Hanceville 33:
  HANCEVILLE: Broncos woke up from an 18 to 12 halftime deficit in outscoring the Bulldogs 33 to 15 in the 2nd half for a comeback victory at Lane Horton Gymnasium.
  The Broncos are 11 & 10 with Hanceville 8 & 11. They will have a rematch Monday in the Cullman County Tournament from Wallace State.
Good Hope 88, Danville 42:
  GOOD HOPE: Back to back one sided wins in 4A, Area 13 has Good Hope with momentum heading to the Cullman County Tournament.
  The Raiders routed East Lawrence 84 to 44 on the road Thursday.
  Friday, the Raiders stormed over Danville and are 5 & 1 in the area.
  Good Hope is waiting on the outcome of West Morgan vs. East Lawrence Friday. A win by West Morgan and the two would have to have a coin toss to determine who would be the host of the area tournament.
  Raiders are 17 & 6 and ranked 4th in the 4A poll.
Good Hope 71, Danville 32 (G):
  GOOD HOPE: Lady Raiders complete the 4A, Area 13 schedule undefeated in blowing by Danville from Good Hope Gymnasium.
  The No. 4 team in Class 4A now has 18 wins against 5 losses and goes into the county tournament as the top seed.
Cold Springs 62, Falkville 40:
  COLD SPRINGS: They have only 7 wins for the season, but Cold Springs is 4 & 0 in 2A, Area 11 after romping past Falkville at home Friday evening.
The Eagles have won 6 of their last 7 games in making improvement from the start for rookie coach Adam McKinnon. Cold Springs will be hosting the area tournament in early February.
Cold Springs 70, Falkville 22:
COLD SPRINGS: No. 2 ranked Lady Eagles clinched the 2A Area 11 regular season crown at home Friday against Falkville.
The Lady Eagles have 14 wins out of 21 games and now focus on the Cullman County tournament with a 1st round game Tuesday at Wallace State vs. West Point.
Vinemont 72, Brewer 27 (G):
VINEMONT: After a 47 to 29 win in 3A, Area 11 Thursday at JB Pennington, the No. 6 ranked Lady Eagles came back to Vinemont Gymnasium and took care of the visitors from Morgan County.
First year coach Emily Willoughby has her Lady Eagles 17 & 4 going into the Cullman County next week as the No. 2 seed.
Vinemont joins West Point girls, Holly Pond girls and Good Hope with 17 victories prior to the county tournament.
Brewer 65, Vinemont 37:
VINEMONT: Brewer dominated the Eagles in a road win Friday. Vinemont fell to 5 & 15.
Mortimer Jordan 75, Cullman 74:
  MORRIS: Things were different this time for Cullman in a rematch with Mortimer Jordan, 10 days after the Bearcats romped by the Blue Devils 74 to 42 in 6A, Area 13 play.
Mortimer Jordan got the upset of the No. 3 team in 6A, dropping the 'Cats to 21 & 4 and 1 & 1 in the area standings.
Mortimer Jordan 58, Cullman 40 (G):
MORRIS: Lady Bearcats fell to 0 & 2 in the area and 11 & 12 on the season with a loss Friday in Jefferson County to the Lady Blue Devils.
