County schools have a good year, five teams win AHSAA state title:

With graduation set for the Cullman County School system this weekend, Gameday Weekly goes back to a wonderful season of sports provided from the fall through the spring for the 7 schools that make up the local system.
What does go far in reviewing 2023/24 athletics, was five teams took home an AHSAA championship. That was from three different sports.
GDW reflects on the year in how it was with championship results.
Volleyball:
Good Hope the county champion, defeating Fairview in the finals at Hanceville's Lane Horton Gymnasium.
Cross country:
Cold Springs Lady Eagles and Eagles take the county championship from Fairview.
Girls basketball:
Good Hope wins the county championship in defeating West Point from Wallace State's Tom Drake Coliseum.
Basketball:
The championship is claimed by the Good Hope Raiders over the West Point Warriors from Wallace State CC.
Girls outdoor track:
Fairview wins the county championship while competing at Dafford Smith Stadium.
Outdoor track:
Holly Pond Broncos make an incredible run to claim the county title from Fairview HS.
Softball:
Good Hope Lady Raiders earn the county championship in victory against Fairview from the Vinemont Sports Complex.
Baseball:
West Point Warriors once again are the best in county baseball, winning the title at Mark Moore Field against the Fairview Aggies.
Girls golf:
West Point put together two good days of golf in claiming the county championship with the final round at Cross Creek Course.
Golf:
West Point Warriors are county champions.
AHSAA recognition:
Cross country - Cold Springs Lady Eagles and Eagles are 2A state champions.
Volleyball - Good Hope Lady Raiders reach the North Super Regional in Huntsville.

Outdoor track - Cold Springs Lady Eagles 2A state champion
