Vinemont very solid after 7 games in 2024 season:

GDW football team spotlight from Week 7:
Vinemont Eagles: The Eagles are making it happen in winning four in a row and have become the highest scoring offense with 249 points.
Their season was produced on the 1st Friday of October, a 56 to 30 romp of the Hanceville Bulldogs in the WKUL Game of the Week.
Gameday Weekly is putting the Eagles in the spotlight from Week 7.
For a half, Hanceville went even with the Eagles as the game was tied at the half 24 to 24.
Vinemont would enter the Hanceville end zone 4 times in the 2nd half, twice in the 3rd and 4th in collecting the most points they have scored in one game in 2024.
Stephen Robinson's Eagles were consistent with 2 TDs and a pair of 2 point conversions in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter.
The Eagles are averaging 35.5 points a game, 2nd to the Fairview Aggies' 39 point per game average.
Vinemont was 7 for 7 in two point plays.
Vinemont has won 4 in a row, stands 6 & 1 and 4 & 1 in AHSAA 3A, Region 5, tied for 2nd with Gordo.
The Eagles have won 9 of their last 10 regular season games dating back to the final 3 on the 2023 schedule.

GDW top performer from Week 7:
Gabriel Hererra of Vinemont: Sophomore RB was called on in the 2nd quarter against Hanceville. Herrera ran 10 times for 92 yards and scored 2 TDs.
His 2nd score with 0:50 left in the half, tied the game at 24 to 24.
Herrera got a 3rd TD on a 1 yard run to start the 2nd half and the Eagles were never behind again vs. their rival from Hanceville.
He was one of four Vinemont ball carriers that got into the end zone. The three for him is a season high.
Vinemont defeated Hanceville 56 to 30 with Gameday Weekly putting the sophomore into the spotlight from Week 7.
