Ava McSwain of Good Hope

The three were huge for the Lady Raiders to claim a 2nd straight AHSAA Northwest Regional championship last week at Wallace State.
Against Dora in the 4A semifinal, McSwain scored 22, Conrad had 8 and Adams 7. The Lady Raiders claimed a 68 to 53 victory.
From the title game with Deshler, McSwain collected 15, Konrad 16 and Adams 12. Good Hope knocked off Deshler 70 to 50 to make school history.
All were named to the regional all tournament team with McSwain being selected the MVP.
For the regional, McSwain averaged 18.5 a game, Konrad 12.0 and Adams 9.5.
McSwain will be starting in her 2nd consecutive Final Four this week from Birmingham while Konrad and Adams are first time starters.
Good Hope is the 3rd county girls program to earn consecutive trips to the Final Four, joining Cold Springs and Holly Pond from the past.
McSwain is a senior for the No. 4 ranked Lady Raiders, Konrad an 8th grader and Adams a sophomore.
