Good Hope played superior softball Tuesday in winning the county championship for the 2nd straight year under coach Tim Tucker.
The top seeded Lady Raiders outscored the opposition 28 to 3, winning both games via the run rule.
Against Cold Springs, the Lady Raiders scored 5 in the 2nd, 6 in the 3rd and 6 in the 4th to move onward to the championship segment.
In the championship with West Point, a close game was broken when Good Hope sent six runners home in the last of the 5th to end the contest at 4:33 p.m.
Good Hope is 7 & 0 vs. county teams this season with a tremendous run advantage of 74 to 4.
Good Hope is unofficially 12/4/1 on the current season.
