Murphee Perdue of Harmony: The 8th grader went to work and led her team to a thrilling 2 games to 1 triumph against Hanceville at home September 16.
Perdue recorded four consecutive service points in the 2nd set that was huge for the Lady Hawks to win the game and send the match into a tiebreaker.
She was vital in a comeback of the 3rd game with a volley and three in a row from the service line for the Lady Hawks to complete excitement for their fans and also with GDW there to report the story.
Perdue was seen by GDW in its opener on August 26, a tri match the Lady Hawks were involved with at Good Hope.
Perdue showed determination as a server and attacker and matched
