History making events coming up for Vinemont cross country:

Vinemont to host invitational & 3A sectional during 2024 XC season:

GDW Analysis:
VINEMONT: A couple of history making events are coming up for Vinemont High School during the 2024 AHSAA cross country season.
The 3A school is hosting an inaugural invitational.
It will take place September 19 at the Vinemont Sports Complex.
Teams that have already entered for this run include local schools Fairview and St. Bernard, plus schools from nearby such as Brindlee Mountain, Locust Fork and Winston County.
The deadline to enter is around September 11.
The AHSAA has given Vinemont the opportunity to host a sectional in the cross country postseason.
This will be on October 31 from the Sports Complex.
Registration is currently going on with the deadline to be two weeks prior to the run.
Those who perform well in the sectional will advance to the state championships to be held the weekend of November 9 from the Jesse Owens complex in the Oakville area of Lawrence County.
Vinemont is looking for financial help in order to cover expenses for both meets.
Those who are interested can contact the school at 256 734 0571 and get in touch with coach Blaise Caire or athletic director Todd Johnson.
