HANCEVILLE: Seeing a 7 point deficit in the 4th, the Holly Pond Broncos never got discouraged in their Cullman County Tournament game Monday with the Hanceville Bulldogs.

 Holly Pond got a pair of big scoring plays from Carson Ryan to help the Broncos finish with a 15 to 2 run and eliminate the Bulldogs 53 to 44.

 Hanceville was very much in the position to beat the Broncos for the first time. They fell at home to Holly Pond three nights before 45 to 33 with the Broncos coming from six down at the half.
A 22 to 7 surge by the Broncos in the final period with 10 points coming from the FT line has the Broncos on a return visit to Tom Drake Coliseum Friday to a matchup with No. 1 seed West Point.
Ryan was the Gameday Weekly player of the game, scoring 16 for the Broncos, now 12 & 12. He had 6 FGs, 2 treys and 2 of 2 FTs.
Sawyer Olinger and Ty Dunn delivered 12 apiece. Cade Allbright managed just 3 points, but showed his stuff with a game high 18 rebounds.
 Peyton Twilley scored 11 for Hanceville, Drake Bentley and Sam Abney tallied 9, Ashton Hurst had 7.

West Point 51, Fairview 41 (JV):
JJ Minck ripped the cords for 22 points on 6 FGs, 2 treys, 9 of 13 FTs in leading top seed West Point over 4th seed Fairview in semifinal play.
Minck was named the Gameday Weekly player of the game.
West Point advances to the championship game Saturday at 4:00 p.m. vs. the winner of the Cold Springs/Good Hope game.
