HANCEVILLE: Vinemont Lady Eagles and Fairview Lady Aggies earn a quarterfinal victory Monday from the Cullman County Tournament at Wallace State CC:
Vinemont topped Hanceville 62 to 32. The Lady Eagles entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed and now have 19 wins on the season for first year coach Emily Willoughby.

 Fairview saw victory in January for the first time Monday in a 43 to 36 conquest of Holly Pond in overtime.
The Lady Aggies claimed their 2nd win of the season vs. their rival from the East side of the county.
Fairview is 11 & 12 for the season.
Vinemont:
A 26 to 5 lead through the first period allowed Vinemont to coast from that point on. The Lady Eagles led 36 to 19 at the half and 51 to 29 following the 3rd.
Reagan Robinson had 17 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds to be named the Gameday Weekly player of the game.

 Vayda Yarbrough was good with 15 points on 3 treys and 3 FGs.
Carley Stephens added 8, Madison Holcomb 7, Caroline Miller 5, Arleigh Thomason 5.
Hanceville got 13 points from Alex Twitty and 9 by Kerrigon Moore. Piper Butts netted 5.

Fairview:
A three pointer late in regulation by Madison Butts for Holly Pond evened the numbers on the scoreboard at 33 to 33.
Fairview had a chance to win in before time expired, but missed a close range jumper.
A three point play from Davi Stidham to begin the extra frame put Fairview ahead to stay.
The Lady Aggies made 6 of 7 from the line in the OT to carry them to victory.
Whitney Quick had 12 before she fouled out for Fairview late in the 4th.
Darby Nichols delivered 9 and was selected the GDW player of the game. She was 4 of 6 from the line.
Stidham hit 6, Lexi Golden scored 5 and Kailyn Redding off the bench with 7 and 4 rebounds.
Ava Thomas delivered 12 for Holly Pond, now 17 & 6 on the season. Butts' three late in the 4th was the only Holly Pond scored.
Maggie Nail tallied 7, Sadie Nail 6.
