Seedings for 2024 Cullman County HS volleyball tournament:

A new No. 1 seed as the county volleyball tourney is coming up:

GDW Analysis:

Cullman County High School volleyball celebrates its 50th anniversary with this year's tournament.
The tournament is to be held September 30, October 1 and October 3 from Felton Easterwood Gym at Holly Pond High School.

Gameday Weekly has the seedings set after four teams finished playing one another in a quad match from Vinemont Gymnasium Tuesday.

The seedings for the 2024 Cullman County VB tournament:

No 1 - Vinemont: Lady Eagles 6 & 0 in the county and 36 & 5 after Tuesday. Bobby Daniels has been superb in his role of coaching and teaching this team about performance and victory.
Vinemont is solid behind the play of Carley Stephens, Morgan Flanagan, Addison Holcomb all season and support from Reagan Robinson, Caroline Miller, Aubrey Sandlin, Abby Kuykendall, Arleigh Thomason and Mabri Smith.

Vinemont had a 13 match winning streak going into its next assignment on Thursday. The Lady Eagles have lost one time in regular season play and four times during weekend tournament matchups.

No. 2 - West Point: Gaining momentum right before the pairings, the Lady Warriors did that with five consecutive victories before losing to Vinemont in the finale of the quad match Tuesday.

New coach Megan Cagle has gone through the process of seeing her team get into a groove.
West Point knocked off Good Hope 2 games to 1 Tuesday, the day after a 3 to 0 area sweep of Russellville.

The unit is blending togetherness between Laklin Shadix, Macie Brown, Caitlee Simmons, Katie Beth Yovino, Clarli Aris, Adrianna Owens and Kelsye Will.

No.3 - Fairview: All of a sudden, a squad that had just one starter coming back for 2024, is on an upswing.
Katie Ball's Lady Aggies last week won a quad match against Cold Springs, Holly Pond and Hanceville.
In playing at Vinemont Tuesday, the Lady Aggies left the gymnasium with a huge defeat of Good Hope to move into 3rd of the standings at 4 & 2.
Fairview was steady in seen by GDW Tuesday with the sister combination of Kensli and Kailyn Redding. Karlie English is the lone starter back, plus very good play from Kailey Vincent, Anna Strane and Whitney Quick.

No. 4 - Good Hope: Lady Raiders have been in the version of good at times and victory eluding them.
Three close losses in the quad match from Vinemont Tuesday, has the 3 time county champion as a 4 seed this year.
Good Hope experienced losses in a tiebreaker with West Point and Vinemont and then saw Fairview edge them 27 to 25 and 26 to 24.
The Lady Raiders have played 4 county opponents to a tiebreaker and split that session this season.
Natasha Holder has the play of Carley Adams as her main attacker with strong efforts by Campbell Koch, Jolee McHan, Molly Johnson, Mattie Wix, Lexi Marshall and Emma Herring.

No. 5 - Holly Pond: Lady Broncos have 2 wins in the county and close battles with Good Hope, falling 2 to 1 and to West Point, Holly Pond and Vinemont.
Adrien Adams' Lady Broncos will look to have the pleasure of playing at home in trying to make a solid run to the championship series.

No. 6 - Hanceville: Lady Bulldogs have seen their 2nd year with Morgan Hammock in playing competitive with higher seeds.
Hanceville lost in a tiebreaking set to Good Hope September 9 and a day later, jumped ahead of Vinemont 1 to 0 in county and area play before Vinemont won the next three.
Good play has been seen by GDW through Lady Bulldogs' Alex Twitty, Aliyah Twitty, Kays Henderson, Olivia Stallings and Zoe Pitts.

No. 7 - Cold Springs: New coach Kate Peek is in a building process for a young team trying to make strides from one assignment to the next.
Victory has not been accomplished so far, but the Lady Eagles can come into the tournament with everything to gain and nothing to lose.
