Two huge road wins for Wallace State softball:

Lady Lions & Coastal South are the same in conference loss total:

GDW Analysis:
BAY MINETTE: Knowing what they would encounter Tuesday in their visit to Coastal
Alabama South, Wallace State softball went out and swept the Coyotes 11 to 4 and 7 to 3.
This allowed Wallace State to go to 12 & 4 in ACCC play and drop Coastal to 8 & 4.
Wallace has the tiebreaker on beating Coastal three out of four times. The two split a
twinbill last Saturday at Bobby McCracken Stadium with WSCC winning 3 to 2 and Coastal

taking the 2nd game 3 to 1.
Coach Lauren Stewart's Lady Lions are idle in conference play this weekend. Wallace
is to go to Chattanooga State Thursday and make up a series that got postponed in
mid March.
For Coastal, they play at Shelton State Thursday and host the Lady Bucs in a doubleheader

on Saturday.
The Lady Lions get back to conference play next weekend with games at Northwest Shoals
April 25 and home vs. the Patriots on the 27th.
Heading into Thursday conference play, Wallace is 12 & 4 with Coastal 8 & 4, Snead 11 & 9,
Northwest Shoals 8 & 8, Shelton 7 & 9, Calhoun and Southern Union 5 & 11.
Snead is idle in conference games for the weekend. Northwest Shoals is out of conference play
too.
Southern Union gets Calhoun to visit Thursday, then the pair finish the series in Decatur on Sunday.
In conference statistics, Lilly Boswell of Wallace leads the ACCC with a 2.33 ERA, Emily Simon is
4th at 3.30.
Katie Simon has the 4th best rating in strikeouts with 64.
Laura Leigh Wheeler is tied for the lead in conference home runs with 11. Bayleigh Rouse had 32
runs batted in, currently 5th in the ACCC.
Wallace is tops in conference hitting at .326 followed by Coastal at .315.
The Lady Lions lead the league in home runs with 41.
Wallace is 2nd in ERA at 3.12 while Coastal has a 2.71 ERA.
Northwest Shoals pitching is tops in strikeouts with 175 while Wallace and Snead have fanned
170 batters.
