Vinemont Lady Eagles tie school record for wins in a season:

FALKVILLE: In whipping Falkville 75 to 23 Tuesday evening, the Vinemont Lady Eagles tied a school record with their 21st victory in a single season.
The 2004/05 Lady Eagles had 21 wins in 30 games.
The 2024/25 Lady Eagles have accomplished 21 out of 26 decisions.
Vinemont left Falkville standing still by going on a 22 to 4 run in the first to break open a close game and lead when time expired in the period, 26 to 9.
The Lady Eagles kept scoring and kept the Blue Devils to a pair of FGs in the 2nd.
Vinemont led at the half, 44 to 14.
Coach Emily Willoughby's Lady Eagles added 18 to their side of the scoreboard in the 3rd for a 62 to 21 advantage.
She cleared the bench in the final frame with her team earning a 13 to 2 tally and a runaway victory in Morgan County.
PG Reagan Robinson was superb with 23 points for Vinemont, hitting 9 FGs, 1 trey and 4 of 6 from the line.

 A great effort came by Addison Holcomb off the bench. The junior ripped for 19 points and gathered 13 rebounds. Holcomb scored 7 in the first, then 4, 4 and 4 in the last three periods.
Caroline Miller tallied 10, Vayda Yarbrough had 8, Morgan Flanagan 6, Brooklyn Yarbrough 3, Arleigh Thomas 3 and Carley Stephens 3.
Vinemont has 10 wins out of 11 games in January.
The Lady Eagles will host the AHSAA 3A Area 11 tournament with a game at 5:00 p.m. vs. the winner of the Hanceville/JB Pennington game.
