Bearcats out to break a rare 2 game losing streak:

GDW Analysis:
Cullman Bearcats were not going to enter the Christmas break with three consecutive losses.

Two happened on the weekend in the City of Jasper Classic against schools from the state of Georgia.
Cullman was back at Bearcat Arena Monday and did what was needed to go 14 & 3 for the first part of the 2024/25 schedule.
The Bearcats were superior against a good athletic team from Pike Road out of Montgomery. Final score was 70 to 40.
Cullman's first three scores were treys with two coming from Gray Hopper and a fast 9 to 0 lead.
The 'Cats ended the period on top 22 to 8 as they tallied 9 FGs to just 3 for the Patriots.
Brooks Loftin had the crowd going into a frenzy in the 2nd with back to back dunks that pushed the lead to 31 to 12.
Loftin scored on a baseline three to end the half with 14 points and a 41 to 21 advantage.
Fifteen shots were converted by Stu Stuedeman's squad through the first 16:00 of the game. Seven shots came from three point range.

The 'Cats netted five treys in the 3rd to move the lead to 58 to 28 and a running clock for the 4th.
Loftin put up a good outing by scoring 16, Jake Dorough 10, Hopper 9, Evan Wilson 8, Carter Gay 8, Sam Dorough 6.
Cullman hit 24 FGs in the contest, 14 from 3 point land.
Pike Road wound up with 13 made shots vs. Choas. The Patriots scored 4 times from the perimeter in the 2nd and the 4th.
Cullman will be playing in a tournament this weekend at Homewood High School.
