Both teams look to 3 games in the West Morgan Christmas Classic:

GDW Analysis:
TRINITY - Holly Pond Lady Broncos and Vinemont Lady Eagles take quality for Cullman County hoops this weekend into competition to be played at West Morgan High School.
Both have three games in the West Morgan Classic.
The event will be Friday, Saturday and Monday in highly competitive round robin assignments.
Holly Pond is 11 & 5 on the season and ranked 7th in the Class 3A state poll.
Vinemont has claimed victory in 10 of 13 games with the Lady Eagles 9th in 3A hoops. Both are tied for 1st place in the 3A, Area 13 standings after Vinemont scored a 56 to 46 victory at Vinemont Gymnasium December 20.
Schedule for both teams:
Holly Pond:
Vs. Rogers Friday 2:00 p.m.
Vs.  Wilson Saturday 3:30 p.m.
Vs. Lexington Monday 5:00 p.m.


Vinemont:
Vs. West Limestone Friday 5:30 p.m.
Vs. Lexington Saturday 6:00 p.m.
Vs. Decatur Monday 3:30 p.m.
Lexington comes into the event with a 9 & 3 record and eager to slow down the two local squads that have combined for 21 wins out of 29 games the first half of the 2024/25 season. The Golden Bears have earned the No. 3 position in the 2A poll prior to the Christmas break.

 Mars Hill Bible, featuring standout Belle Hill, is in the classic. The Lady Panthers come to West Morgan 4th in the 3A rankings.
Mars Hill closes out its schedule with a game Monday at 5:00 p.m. vs. West Limestone.
 

Elsewhere:
 Cold Springs Lady Eagles resume their schedule with a game at home Monday against Appalachian at 3:00 p.m. The Lady Eagles have 8 wins out of 14 games and stand No. 4 in the 2A poll.
No. 1 Good Hope Lady Raiders will play this weekend down in Destin, Florida.
They have games on Friday, Saturday and Monday in the Beach Bash Tourney.
Cullman Lady Bearcats will not be far from Good Hope for the weekend. The Lady 'Cats play in the Gulf Shores Classic with games set for Friday, Saturday and Monday.

 West Point Lady Warriors have a game scheduled Monday at Supreme Courts In Guntersville with opponent and game time to be announced.

 According to information, Fairview Lady Aggies and Hanceville Lady Bulldogs are idle until after New Years.
Fairview played last weekend in a classic at Sardis High School with Hanceville having success in the Randolph Classic in Huntsville.
