Final week of local prep basketball regular season:

Regular season games to be on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday:

GDW Analysis:
  Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) basketball is down to the final week of the regular season.
All 10 schools covered by Gameday Weekly have at least one regular season assignment set before the postseason starts with area playoffs this weekend.
 
Here is a look at regular season games for prep basketball this week (January 27/30):
Monday:
Hanceville at Meek 5:00/6:30
Vinemont at Susan Moore 5:00/6:30
Cullman at Jasper 6:00/7:30 (98.3 FM)
Brewer at Fairview (G) 6:15
Holly Pond at Southeastern 5:00/6:30
St. Bernard at ACTE 5:00/6:30
Vinemont Lady Eagles are out to get a 20 win season for the first time in 20 years. This can happen with a victory Monday in Blount County against Susan Moore.
Vinemont is 19 & 5 in the first season under Emily Willoughby.
Cullman Bearcats go to Carl Cannon Coliseum with the regular season title in 6A, Area 13 hanging in the balance against the Jasper Vikings.
The winner will host the area tournament the following week.
Fairview Lady Aggies get a visit by Brewer from Morgan County to Joe Shults Gymnasium.
This will be a matchup of former Lady Aggie assistant Jeff Daniel, now the head coach at Brewer, against the Lady Aggies and 2nd year mentor Chris Nichols.

Holly Pond and Good Hope have a rematch three days after the Raiders defeated the Broncos 60 to 42 in the Cullman County championship at Wallace State.

  West Point at Oneonta 5:00/6:30
Fultondale at Cullman 6:00/7:30 (98.3 FM)
Last regular season game for the Cullman teams to be played at Bearcat Arena.
