HANCEVILLE: Once again the best girls basketball team from playing in the Cullman County tournament is the Good Hope Lady Raiders.
Four consecutive years the Lady Raiders have been the squad to cut down the net.
Good Hope shook off a slow start in knocking off West Point 58 to 51 Saturday evening at Wallace State,
The four consecutive triumphs by the Lady Raiders matches what Cold Springs did between 2007 to 2010.

Good Hope collected its 20th win of the season and is now on a 5 game winning streak going into the last week of the regular season schedule.
Justin Aby's squad began to find rhythm once the game went into the 2nd period.
After trailing 15 to 9 when the first ended, the Lady Raiders tallied a 14 to 7 scoring streak. The last 2:00 of the half resulted in four lead changes on the scoreboard.
Eighth grader Sophie Konrad drove to the basket as time ran out and hit a bank shot for the Lady Raiders to take the lead at 23 to 22.
One key in the 2nd half was the Lady Raiders to shoot 90 percent from the line in making 9 of 10.
Ella Gossett hit four of four and got support with two of two by Jolee McHan and Lucie Adams.
Ava McSwain performed well in getting 14 on championship night.
Lexi Marshall joined Konrad and McHan by 10 point scoring each.
Five Lady Raiders accounted for 44 points in showing balance that takes pressure off McSwain to be so productive each game.
Gossett and Konrad were selected co players of the game by Gameday Weekly. Gossett had eight and was four of four from the line.
Konrad tallied four field goals, one trey and had three rebounds and three assists.
West Point's 7 game winning streak ended. The Lady Warriors now have a 20 & 5 record going into the upcoming week of games.
Jaelyn Faulkner tossed in 18 with her sister Camryn scoring 14.
Sophomore center Laklin Shadix dropped in nine and gathered 7 rebounds.
