JV champions crowned at the Cullman County tournament:

The JV division has games to go down to the wire:

GDW Analysis:
HANCEVILLE: Cullman County's junior varsity division presented two championship games Saturday that went down to the wire from Wallace State's Tom Drake Coliseum.
It began with the Good Hope Lady Raiders hanging on to upset the top seed Cold Springs Lady Eagles 43 to 40.
That was followed by a 4th period comeback from 1 seed West Point in getting by 2 seed Cold Springs 48 to 43.
Big lead for Good Hope goes awry:
Good Hope left the Coliseum floor at halftime of the JV girls final leading Cold Springs 28 to 8.
A 19 to 4 surge by the Lady Raiders in the 2nd made it look like very good for trying to defeat a Cold Springs team that was undefeated in the county in JV games.
Things changed when Cold Springs started to make shots, especially from 3 point range.

A 21 to 3 run in the 3rd had the Lady Eagles trailing 31 to 29.
They would take the lead in the 4th with Good Hope showing poise as PG Zoe Gibbs scored 7 points in the period, including a 4 point play.
A free throw from Good Hope put them up 43 to 40 with 13 seconds left. Cold Springs tried to get into position of tying the game.
Gibbs intercepted a pass at midcourt and ran out the final seconds for a great victory.
Gibbs had 12 points in the final after she scored 26 the day before vs. Fairview.
She was named the GDW player of the game.
Gabby Richter got 13 points and 17 rebounds to lead Good Hope.
Cold Springs' top scorers were Hagan Ellis and Kyleigh Graves with 13 apiece.
