GDW Analysis:
HANCEVILLE: Two things that makes the Good Hope Raiders a strong basketball team is tempo and three point shooting.
The Raiders had the tempo in their advantage from the start that would carry them over the Holly Pond Broncos 60 to 42 in the Cullman County championship Saturday evening at Wallace State.
Good Hope had an 8 to 1 advantage on treys in the first half vs. the Broncos.
Holly Pond could not slow down the pace like they did the night before in a 53 to 50 upset of No. 1 seed West Point.
Drew Adams' Raiders would end the title bout with 12 treys and had 32 on the Drake Coliseum floor for three games.
In back to back nights, the Raiders landed 14 against Fairview to go with the dozen they knocked down Saturday evening.
Good Hope led 20 to 11 after the first and 36 to 23 at halftime.
The Raiders were up 53 to 31 to start the final period.
