GDW Analysis:
HANCEVILLE: Fairview played a better 2nd half than Holly Pond in winning 42 to 28 to open the Cullman County JV division Saturday from Wallace State.
The matchup of the 4 vs. 5 seed was tight through the first half. Fairview was up 11 to 8 following the first and went to the locker room on top of Holly Pond 23 to 17.
Fairview had a 9 to 4 run in the 3rd that got them a 32 to 21 advantage,
Ty Babb of Fairview was selected the player of the game by GDW for producing 9 points, 2 treys, 5 rebounds and an assist.
Connor Scott scored 10, Colt Dean 10, Konnon Dunklin 6, Eli St. Denny 4, Ayden Batz 3.
Walker Marks led Holly Pond with 6, Jonah Shockley 5, Daniel Figeroia 4.

Good Hope 59, Hanceville 33:
No. 3 seed Good Hope enjoyed the perimeter with 9 treys, 6 in the first half.
After having a 13 to 6 lead in the first, the Raiders moved the advantage to 32 to 15 at the half and a 22 point 3rd stanza gave them a 54 to 27 lead.
Sophomore Ayden Young ripped the cords for 19 points to earn Gameday Weekly player of the game honors. Young ended with 7 FGs, 3 treys and 2 FTs.
Eli Drake added 8, Ryker Hancock and Ian Moody scored 7, Web Buchanan 4, Chase Boles and Christian Sims 3.

Cold Springs 61, Vinemont 19:
Cold Springs was sound for the first half, getting a 17 to 2 lead on Vinemont and stretching it to a commanding 37 to 7 halftime advantage.
The No. 2 seed went into the 4th with a 55 to 13 lead which resulted in a running clock in the final stanza.
Seventh grader Cash Dickerson enjoyed playing at Tom Drake Coliseum, leading the Eagles with 21 points on 9 FGs, 3 treys, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
He earned GDW player of the game honors.
Lindan Hill and Wyatt Barker were sound in the frontline scoring 12 each.
Eli Voce tallied 7 and Bradley Hancock hit a 3.
