Good 3 point shooting guides CCS over St. Bernard:
Lions hit 14 FGs in game, 13 from three point territory:

GDW Analysis:
Cullman Christian's Lions offense Monday evening vs. St. Bernard was a deadly assault of long range scoring.
The Lions had 14 FGs for the 1A, Area 14 contest. Thirteen were beyond the arch and effective enough for the Lions to outlast the Saints 43 to 40.
Cooper Williams had a great touch on his 3 point shot. The left hander scored 4 in the first, had one during the 2nd and 3 in the 3rd. He finished with 26 points on 8 shots from beyond the arch and scored twice from the FT line.
The only FG that was not a three by the Lions was late in the 3rd on a short range jumper.
Williams was the only Lion to score from the line, making 2 of five. Others failed to convert late in the game that kept St. Bernard in contention.
The Saints went into the 2nd up by the score of 15 to 12 and clinged to a 29 to 27 advantage at intermission.
St. Bernard's offense was not sharp in the 2nd half. Tim Burleson's Saints managed just 4 FGs, two per period, one trey and hit a pair of foul shots.
David Cofer's Lions swept the season series from their city rival. The Lions won 48 to 16 at St. Bernard in mid November.
They are 2 & 2 in the area with area games left against Addison and Meek in the upcoming week.
The Saints are 0 & 3 in 1A, Area 14 games. St. Bernard plays Meek at home Tuesday in its next assignment.
