County volleyball will eye a different look in 2024:

Volleyball coaches in the Cullman County school system are aware things will be very different on the floor in 2024.
The main reason is graduation. Key personnel for each of the 7 schools have paid their dues to the sport and now look to their future lives in various situations.
Cullman County coaches got to breakdown the upcoming season Monday while participating in the CCBOE Media Day.
New coaches will make their presence at Cold Springs, Vinemont and West Point.
Natasha Holder is back for her 8th season at Good Hope, Adrien Adams her 5th year at Holly Pond, Katie Ball in her 3rd year at Fairview and Morgan Hammock her 2nd season with Hanceville.
Good Hope has won the last two Cullman County championships. West Point and Fairview have been a challenge in recent time.
This is what the coaches said at the CCBOE volleyball media day Monday.
"You have different personnel to look at. Each is having to learn their role," Natasha Holder.
"We are trying to learn our system. We are out to get better. We are going to do things never done here before at Vinemont," Bobby Daniels.
"The game has become exciting. The crowd does have an effect on the players," Adrien Adams.
"They are working as hard as they possibly can." Katie Ball.
"This was unexpected. Excited to be back on the sideline. All have stepped it up in their own way," Meagan Cagle of West Point.
"We have five seniors for we are a veteran team this year. We are working hard to have a very good season," Morgan Hammock.
"We got started last week. The seniors have done a good job in leading by example," Kate Peek of Cold Springs.
This is the final week for playdays allowed in July by the Alabama High School Athletic Association.
Good Hope conducted a playday series from the air conditioned comfort of Good Hope Gymnasium Monday and Tuesday.
The Lady Raiders are joined by locals Fairview and Cold Springs.
On Tuesday, Good Hope vs. Fairview at 4:00, Fairview vs, Dora and Cold Springs vs. Corner at 4:30, Good Hope vs. Corner and Cold Springs vs. Dora at 5:00, Cold Springs vs. Fairview 5:30. Good Hope vs. Dora and Fairview vs. Corner at 6:00.
Vinemont is involved in a playday at Wallace State Community College. The Lady Eagles are taking on a solid list of good teams that are from outside the area. This will run through Wednesday from Tom Drake Coliseum.
Before coming to media day Monday, Hanceville was involved in a playday from Lane Horton Gymnasium. Among the teams the Lady Bulldogs faced were Cullman Christian School.
West Point is hosting a playday on Friday from Jim Boyd Gymnasium. This is the 2nd one to take place for the Lady Warriors with Cagle in her first year with the school after having 5 seasons leading the Cullman Lady Bearcats.
Regular season play starts on August 22.
Among the assignments will be Cullman Christian in a tri match at Vinemont, Holly Pond in a tri match at Good Hope, Cold Springs in a tri match at Locust Fork.
