BIRMINGHAM: High scoring, entertaining basketball was on display Friday morning in the AHSAA 2A championship between No. 1 Decatur Heritage Lady Eagles and No. 7 Pisgah Lady Eagles.

This was the first for Pisgah since 2022 and 5th since 2018 for coach Carey Ellison.
"I have never been a part of game to have as many as five players score in double figures," Ellison said. "We kept fighting and had to get aggressive. Decatur Heritage deserved to be No. 1 coming in for playing a tough schedule."
